This guide helps students learn about AI-based tools that can assist with research tasks, as well as the fundamentals of prompting.

It also outlines guidelines and policy for AI tool usage at York, benefits and limitations of this technology for research, and offers tips to help students verify what they find and use.

The Academic Integrity Module is one of thirteen modules offered in the Student Papers & Academic Research Kit (SPARK) which helps undergraduate students write academic research papers.
