The Open Access Open Data committee has been tasked with articulating a framework and coordinated service models that support faculty in meeting Tri-Agency Open Access Policy requirements pertaining to open access and data management.
A number of consultations with faculty councils and community-wide town halls were held to engage stakeholders in discussion around the potential for an open access policy at York University. The final policy, which was approved by Senate on June 27 2019, can be found here. This policy is supplemented with an general FAQ, as well as implementation-specific FAQs for infrastructure supports available on campus: YorkSpace and Osgoode Digital Commons.
