To honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Sept. 30, York University Libraries present a collection of resources, which include print books, e-books, and videos that examine this history, the challenges of reconciliation, and share the stories of survivors.
"Orange Shirt Day" began as an Indigenous-led movement to honour the children and families impacted by the residential school system in Canada. September 30th is now a Canadian statutory holiday, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. For more information about Orange Shirt Day, visit www.orangeshirtday.org.
