The Experiential Education (EE) Symposium showcases experiential education at York University and celebrates the achievements of students and faculty who have participated in EE.
This multi-disciplinary, inaugural event will be held on January 22, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. in the Scott Library Collaboratory. It is a partnership between the AVP Teaching & Learning Office (YUExperience Hub and Teaching Commons) and the Libraries.
The event will consist of welcoming remarks by Rhonda Lenton, President and Vice-Chancellor of York University, Will Gage, AVP Teaching & Learning, and Joy Kirchner, Dean of Libraries. An opening keynote address will also be given by a high profile alumnus. The program also includes a student panel presentation, hands-on EE activities from Learning Commons Partners and a marketplace-like environment where students will present their projects in the form of poster sessions. See more specifics from the program posted on the web site: http://eesymposium.yorku.ca/program/
