Are you a Schulich MBA student enrolled in the Global Mining Management specialization? Or are you part of another faculty at York and need specialized research on mining companies or commodities? Well, the Bronfman Library would like to introduce you to one of our newest tools for conducting mining industry and company research!
In 2014, York University Libraries subscribed to SNL Metals and Mining. This research database provides York students and faculty with access to in-depth research on mining companies, projects, and commodities, as well as news and research reports on the global mining industry, exploration trends, and much more. This database also provides users with access to its Excel Add-in, which can be used to export data and create custom reports on the mining industry. SNL also has an interactive Mine Map feature, which allows users to visualize global mining data.
