The Montréal Exchange is running its 6th Option Trading Simulation for the Winter 2015 semester! This simulation provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Canadian options and expand their options knowledge. Teams will be able to negotiate 50 predefined Canadian option classes, execute their orders in real-time using their virtual portfolio, and practice option strategies.

Event details:

• Each team will be given a virtual cash account of $100,000 to build its options portfolio.
• The event is 8-weeks long and runs from February 2, 2015 to March 27, 2015.

Prizes:

• 1st place prize - $10,000
• 2nd place prize - $5,000
• 3rd place prize - $2,500
• The best performing team per university as well as the 50 best teams in the Canadian ranking that have respected the mandatory components will receive a certificate of participation.

Eligibility: Your team must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program, specializing in finance (or any other related discipline), in Canada

Team composition: Teams can have 1-4 participants and there is no limit to the number of teams by university or faculty.
