Yanli Li began her Business Librarian appointment with the Bronfman Business Library on September 8, 2014 and her appointment runs until the end of August 2015. We’re excited to have Yanli at our library for the next year, as she brings to our team a range of relevant professional experience!Yanli holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from UBC (2013) and a PhD in Economics from Renmin University of China, Beijing and a Master of Economics (International Trade) from Northeast University of Finance and Economics, Dalian, China.
Highlights from Yanli’s work experience include her role as a Professor of Economics and Business for seven years at the School of Economics and Business at Yantai University in Yantai, China which included an Academic Coordinator role for many of those years. She has also held various positions at academic libraries, as well as various library volunteer roles.
Yanli will be providing research and reference help to faculty and students, while also preparing and delivering tailored library instruction sessions for a variety of business classes at York.
